WAIT I HAVE AN EXPLANATION FOR THIS i met paul blake (greedo actor) at comic con and he was talking about how filming this scene he went up to george lucas and was like “so i went up to george and asked, you know, ‘why am i in this scene, im dead!’ and he looked straight at me and said [leans to the mic] ‘all rodians look the same’ …all right!” so that’s literally all it is. george lucas just didn’t give a sh*t

side note its possible that rodian skin give off colours invisbile to the human eye so they dont look the same to themselves
