This is what’s wrong with the world today.

Are we really so desensitized to violence? Or do we just get more attached to fictional characters that we don’t care about our own species anymore because we’re used to seeing humans die?

Its sorta the same concept in movies. if someone dies, thats fine. But oh man if the family dig dies there’s not a dry seat in the house.

So let me get this straight…Gore and shit of PEOPLE getting maliciously and sadistically murdered? Alright. But the candy colored ponies? No that’s too much.

I think it’s the attachment to fictional characters. I would give more of a reaction if someone like Ianto was drawn with his guts on the floor rather than some guy I don’t know in the same situation. I wouldn’t hate the artist or torchwood because of it but I would at it wouldn’t be a “meh” reaction.
