What I don’t like is the fact that blogs like Jitters can make money so easily for such trivial things. Going to brony con, getting a rare toy, those aren’t things you NEED to have or go to. Sure they may be fun, but one doesn’t need them to survive. In the meantime, smaller blogs that actually NEED money for bills and food get little to no donations and very few commissions, leaving them desperate to find ways to make money and survive.

It’s just sad that the popularity of the artist is what matters when it comes to giving them money, even if they don’t need it for anything vital.

Excuse me but I went to Bronycon in order to sell stuff so I could make a living…?

Because of Bronycon I can finally for the first time in my life relax for 3 months because I made enough money at BC to pay rent for 3 months and have grocery money and even some extra spending money.

If I didn’t go to Bronycon, I would be 5,000 dollars poorer and I’d be stressed out as usual over struggling to make money.

And with the extra money I’ve made from Bronycon that I don’t use for myself- I actually try to donate or help people if I can, or offer to buy them things that will improve their work so they have a better chance of getting a bigger name and thus making more money through more recognition with quality.

Don’t forget that you returned all the money when you didn’t get neosurgeon the first time and you did promise to do things for the people who donated if you had gotten it.
