You can’t just take someones famous OC and make them younger. You can do that with canon characters but not with OCs because it’s disrespectful to the original creator of said OC. Whatever fame you get from it is just leached from the original and the original might already have a plan for backstory or something. You can’t just use someone elses OC as your own.

I’ve always found this funny, lets just blatently steal someones character, then when you get called out on it the excuse is always.

OC and Canon are two different things. It’s relatively easy for a blog about a canon character to get famous because people who watched the show have heard or seen the character however, it takes incredible skill for an OC to get famous because you need to make it worth looking up, even if it’s a “heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend.”

And to leech off of that fame that an OC got is terrible.
