whenever a tv network or streaming service complains about ppl watching their stuff illegally i'm always like, you know if you did manage to shut down all the pirate sites it wouldn't make ppl go pay for your service, it'd prob just mean they wouldn't watch your stuff in the first place?

like, it's not " pirate, else pay to watch" it's "pirate, else don't watch at all" in a lot of cases, so like... you ain't even losing those ~potential customers~ bc they're. not.
