Chihiro got the magic dumpling from the spirit of a polluted river as a reward for cleaning it. It was with this emetic dumpling that Chihiro saved Haku, the spirit of a river who had kept her safe years ago. The earth was kind to Chihiro, and Chihiro was kind to it in return…oh man
