these are posts by a government official, the commissioner of District 1 Putnam County, Tennessee, who is now trying to say they were only jokes.

this man is in a relatively high position of authority in my county and he feels comfortable posting and saying these things.

this is not acceptable from anyone, least of all government officials. if something isn’t done, this man will continue to be able to affect legislation in my county according to the blatantly racist and xenophobic ideals he defends and believes in.
