Back in 2017, I traveled up through Northern Japan. On my birthday in Hokkaido, I had butter corn ramen in a tiny restaurant I don’t remember the name of, and wound up going back multiple times because I liked it so much. After having it for dinner three days in a row, I started feeling sick. That night I had awful nightmares. This comic is inspired by one of those dreams I had. I tried making it into a comic when I returned home to New York, but after drawing the first page I came down with a horrible flu and wound up having to go to the emergency room for exhaustion and dehydration. When I finally felt better again, I decided to move on to other comics. But this one always stuck with me, so I decided to finally draw the whole comic.

This is my longest comic ever, and since you can’t put more than 10 images into an Instagram carousel, I can’t post the entire thing.
