Context: We have a Tiefling Warlock that is usually played by people who only drop in for one or two sessions. I have him claimed on DnDBeyond so I can have a tab open of my own character and that one for the guest that joins us. This time no one stopped in so I played him and looked over his character sheet properly for the first time. The whole thing is OOC.
Me: So a proficiency in cooking utensils means he’s a good cook?
Friend 1: Not really, just because he knows how to use the utensils doesn’t mean the food he makes is good.
Me: But he can at least flip a pancake…
Friend 1: Yeah but the pancake is burnt.
Me: A burnt pancake doesn’t fucking flip.
Friend 2 shows us a gif: This is what a cooking utensils proficiency means!
Unfortunately, our DM didn’t agree with that interpretation.
I am Silver Tongue, I am an artist. I have many characters and you can check out my art in the art tag. I occasionally practice witchcraft though I don't do anything too complicated. I am girl 2 and don't know what else to put here.
