I had a problem with all of those Pokemon though. I'm not a "genwunner", most of my favorite Pokemon are from Gens 3 and 5, but I really hate this tradition of sticking two of the same Pokemon together and calling it an evolution (especially since these types of Pokemon make up about half of all steel types. I just want some nice looking steel Pokemon.)

Well, they’ve been around since the beginning and almost every generation had it.

Kanto had many like dugtrio and weezing

johto had girafarig

hoenn had metang which was basically two beldums on a rock 

sinnoh had combee

unova had klink

so, I don’t see why people rage.

or combee for that matter neither have pre-evos

girafarige is just a giraffe with a face on its tail and combee is just three honeycones glued together with wax.

yes but you were listing off pokémon who’s evolutions are just multiples of the same pokémon stuck together. giragarig and combee don’t have pre-evos, so they don’t belong on that list. anyway, it’s not a big deal i just wanted to point that out.
