do y’all think Aizawa is ever on his day off, wearing a normal ass scarf with his civilian clothing, and after running into a Situation, forgets he’s not wearing his uniform. so he goes to throw out his capture weapon, only for the scarf to fall limply to the ground with the villain of the day laughing in his face? the use of his gear is instinctual at this point, I imagine if there’s a weight around his neck he will yeet it at the first sign of danger.
