Whats a respectful way to describe asian inspired characters in a setting not on earth? Like in a fantasy series how would one introduce an asian character without delving into stereotypes?

Definitely the name thing. Describe the hair and eyes like anyone else. For skin tone you could either mention light, sun kissed, or dark. However you picture her. Just don’t talk about narrowed eyes unless she’s performing the action.
