sorry dudes but poverty literally just doesnt have to exist
still being SENT by first class priority by the fact that this little ditty is somehow my most controversial post
Somehow these 10 words managed to enrage SO many people. Reblogs and comments are filled with people immediately justifying poverty as a societal necessity. It’s so sad to me that people at this point are so broken by the sickness of capitalism that we are unable to even imagine a world where people DON’T starve and die because they can’t afford food and health care. I never claimed that we would see a world without poverty or even that our great-great grandchildren will, I just DARED to believe that it’s possible.
We are truly in some deep shit if we as a society can’t even agree that things CAN be better.
