Listen. Read. Educate yourselves. If you are unaware, fix that. Do not be complicit in the societal and legal oppression of transgender Americans.

And to everyone who thinks this is the only way it can be: it’s not. It’s not supposed to be like this. There are different living conditions in different parts of the world, and we have a lot to learn about all of them. Because these conditions change, and we can help our community have better living conditions.
