sometimes I think about how when chell got sucked out into space glados could’ve easily just closed the portal and gotten rid of her forever but instead she pulled her back in and waited for her to wake up, and since it was night during the wheatley fight but day when chell went outside she must’ve waited for several hours, and all this time chell was lying on the chamber floor and glados could just crush her with a panel or throw her into the incinerator and get rid of her, or since she needs test subjects she could’ve just picked her up and put her back into the test chambers but she didn’t she waited all that time for her to wake up, said “thank god you’re alright” then deleted caroline (or just pretended to?? or only thought she did???) but still let her go, and so “killing you is hard” meant it’s emotionally hard to kill chell, and I just
