I AM SO GLAD YOU ASKED! TIME TO REMIND THE FANDOM OF FIAMET(recently me and my pals have been talking about them A LOT so i will use any excuse to keep talking about them)

Fiamet is, presumably, a troll who will appear in hiveswap! (this is due to the development team always talking about a REDACTED character who we theorize to be fiamet and feel like they will play a major role!)

It originated from this:

as you can probably tell, fiamet’s text color doesn’t really fit or match the olive or jade blood colors(these are approximated colors due to the grainy and unsaturated look of the image)

which leads people to believe that fiamet is a limeblood! which brings us to figuring out their sign, and it’s all thanks to their icon! Dr. Shrunk from animal crossing new leaf! an axolotl

hiveswap has concept art of an axolotl, presumably a lusus or even first guardian(which is unlikely as Doc Scratch is the first guardian of alternia)

pretty interesting, huh?

What’s even crazier is the color! it seems more aligned with lime(although this could just be for effects). But something else is peculiar about this image. It’s that it’s shown breathing fire! which brings up the name Fiamet.

Fiamet seems to be derived from the Fiameta!

According to the wikipedia, Fiametta or Fiammetta is

An axolotl is pretty similar to a salamander in some things, but also “flame of love”? and BALLET!?!?!?

I think you see where I’m going with this, but we will come back to that later! since we were talking about their sign

looks pretty darn similar to an axolotl, right?

most people settle on this as fiamet’s sign due to the parallels that scream at us from the concept art to the prongle page! and while i’m not a believer in the “hiveswap kids will get the last 4 missing aspects” theory, i DO like to think fiamet will be a mind player!

But, let’s jump back to the “flame of love” stuff. what does that mean???

Well, my friends, it seems that fiamet might end up playing the role of Love Interest for our protagonist, joey!

Of course, this is only speculation and things could change WILDLY once Act 2 comes out but the connections ARE THERE.

A name that has a connection to ballet? one that is about “the flame of love”? hints of joey’s realization that she’s not straight? the fact that joey does ballet? it SCREAMS LOVE INTEREST! 

And that’s as much as we really got right now! I think people have already made theory posts like this one, but I guess it’s always nice to remind the fandom that there is something else hanging around!
