just........here in the south and in the midwest i think we have earned the right to be frustrated at the constant condescension we are having to endure from people who don’t live here. the fact that georgia is blue is the result of the very hard work from georgians, specifically black women, who have been climbing up this damn mountain for years. it is literally exhausting and boring to keep acting like we’re just vast amounts of empty land full of dumb hicks when the sunbelt is the fastest growing region in the country. fort bend county is literally like the most diverse county in america. the 3rd and 4th largest cities in the country are in the midwest and the south, respectively. stop
