Cows cannot properly digest apples or corn, and after the released gases pass their first stomach they cannot leave the body and cause bloat!

Bloat leads to excessive pain, and even death if not properly treated. Often the only way it can be relieved is by a trained vet puncturing the stomach where the gases have collected and allowing them to exit the body. The “drunken” effect witnessed is due the fermenting apples. Cows love starchy foods like apples, but they should never be fed them! Give them some hay instead!
