I think more enemies-to-friends-to-lovers should have both parties worry about “how can they forgive me for what I’ve done to them? How I’ve hurt them in the past?” instead of just one of them. Add some spice. Let them both worry about forgiveness and somehow miss the fact that they’ve both definitely forgiven each other.
