it has never once failed to amuse me that andrew hussie, by his own account, set out to try to describe a system of interpersonal dynamics so convoluted and obscure that they would signal to his audience that the people engaging in them were, indeed, truly alien in thought

and not only  his audience but a big chunk of people who never even read homestuck looked at this chart and said “no, yeah, that looks right”
