If you wondered how anyone could be so incompetent in the handling of a deadly pandemic, well…
…it was on purpose.
They WANTED us to get infected.
They wanted Americans to become infected in record numbers.
On July 4th, Trump administration “science” adviser Paul Alexander, alleged health researcher and former Trump Administration official who openly worked to muzzle actual doctors and scientists, wrote an email to his boss, Health and Human Services assistant secretary for public affairs Michael Caputo, which became the basis for the Trump Administration response:
“There is no other way, we need to establish herd, and it only comes about allowing the non-high risk groups expose themselves to the virus. PERIOD. Infants, kids, teens, young people, young adults, middle aged with no conditions etc. have zero to little risk….so we use them to develop herd…we want them infected…it may be that it will be best if we open up and flood the zone and let the kids and young folk get infected.“

You can SEE it in the government’s response, their demand to open business and especially SCHOOLS.
We WANT them infected. Those are LITERALLY their own words. That was LITERALLY their plan. And they were willing to sacrifice just as many Americans to this asshole’s voodoo woowoo as it took.
All while knowing THEY would get advanced medicines not available to the public if THEY got infected.
They sacrificed an entire Navy ship to this idea. Remember? And fired her Captain for trying to save his crew.
There was NO ONE they weren’t willing to sacrifice for their own profit, for the stock market, for money.
The thing is, without a vaccine, there is NO “herd” immunity.
Just as there was never any herd immunity to polio or smallpox or cholera or the common cold. Or the goddamn flu, for that matter.
Those who are PRIMARILY motivated by greed should never, ever be in charge of the public welfare.
These people are criminals and should be arrested and charged with the murder of 300,000 Americans.
A Crime Against Humanity
The emails in question come from Paul Alexander, assistant to the assistant to the Director of HHS. The White House is trying to push this off like no one really took this guy seriously, when in reality he tried to get the CDC to change their fucking policies:

Who knows how many lives these people have taken. Who knows how much fucking American blood is on their hands. It makes me sick to my stomach.

Remember also that Trump refused to push for more COVID testing because he felt high case numbers would make it harder for him to be re-elected. HHS secretary Alex Azar also withheld worst-case scenarios from him.
