It’s important to note that all of the legislators making these points are women and/or people of color, and therefore would have been some of the primary people to be targeted and focused on by the insurrectionists and I think that needs to be emphasized. 

The fact that he had to consider the police that were meant to be protecting him as much of a threat as the white nationalist terrorists storming the capitol is VERY telling
