Okay okay fuck one more thing before I go

Can

Can we please stop having all these ”ask(insert pointless quirk or verb)whooves” blogs please?

Almost every day now a new one pops up

Guys I’m all for creativity but relying on an aesthetic quirk as your focus is not exactly the best way to go

Name names or STFU. Do you have any idea what this will do to someone with an ask blog? They will wonder if you were talking about them, and hateful people will be telling bloggers that you were obviously referring to them. If you want to make a criticism of a blog just do it- being passive aggressive is not cool. But then again, neither is handing out criticism when no one asked you in the first place.

If you don’t like a blog, don’t follow it. Why is that so hard?

jitterbugjive

Maybe I’m not naming names because I know people will be fucking idiots and go after those blogs if I actually listed them because I have a lot of rabid morons who follow me anyways?

But I still have a god damn right to an opinion, and I’m not the only one either.

I’m not complaining about any specific people in particular, I’m complaining about the ridiculous influx in general in the past few weeks of at least 10-20 other new Doctor Whooves blogs and yes, it IS getting fucking ridiculous and I’m telling people they should seriously consider not adding to it

Fuck, damned if I do, damned if I dont

I hate this fucking website

I don’t understand how you’re damned if you don’t. What would have happened if you had just kept that thought to yourself? Oh yeah, nothing.

I also do not see how you can say you aren’t complaining about specific people. Not bothering to remember their names, or the fact that there is a lot of them, doesn’t make it less personal for them.

I am sorry you are going through some stuff right now, but don’t take it out on other people. It isn’t their fault. We all make mistakes and its important to forgive yourself.

Well, buddy, let me explain you a thing.

First, being damned if he doesn’t, he means if he doesn’t speak, he can’t he heard about something he cares about.

Now, other than you acting the jerk telling him to shut up while he was stating his opinion/complaint, saying to “not take things out on other people” doesn’t make your argument very solid. How about I call you an idiot while saying “be nice to other people?” Does that seem any different?

On top of that, saying “it’s important to forgive yourself” is pretty much saying it was his fault for having an opinion/complaint.

Now, on to the understanding of his rant on too many Doctor Whooves blogs:

Doctor Who on its own is known for its story and development as the Doctor adventures through space and time amid companions, facing conflicts with meaningful resolutions.

A LOT of Doctor Whooves blogs have been popping up without the above mentioned. A good portion of them have chosen a singular gimmick where the Doctor is in a certain emotion or appearance for the entire blog and hardly anything to do with the Doctor Who universe other than character names and just the TARDIS if that. “This time he’s lonely and that’s the entire blog as he beats himself up!” “Now he’s inverted and that’s the entire blog!” “Now he’s crotchety and that’s the entire blog!”

I’m not saying you can’t use such ideas for a Doctor Whooves blog, but when you are using the Doctor, who is known for adventures and varying developments, and you aren’t adventuring or developing him as a character that makes him relatable to the Doctor and the audience, that Doctor Whooves may as well have been a flat OC because at that point, the owners of flat Doctor Whooves blogs come off as using the Doctor for popularity.

In other words, don’t use a character that has lot of story weight if you’re going to throw that out for popularity by any means via name.

So, buddy, that’s the thing.

I should update my doctor blog.
