Watching people on twitter vehemently deny fatphobia’s existence while being extremely fatphobic is so funny to watch. Everybody loves “natural bodies” unless they’re overweight huh Bc we all know we can accurately guess somebody’s entire health status just from a number on a scale!

it’s just blowing me Bc people are constantly talking about body dysmorphia, disordered eating, and unrealistic body standards but….nobody wants to acknowledge that it’s normal to be fat? That it is OKAY to be fat? People starve their children, monitor their weight, they’ll break up with partners for gaining weight, some people don’t even think fat people are attractive at all or automatically call them lazy for just…existing. All that projection Bc they’re scared of fatness and the idea of being fat legitimately bothers thin people (most of whom are unhealthy themselves) to the point where they oppress and bully fat people for having the audacity to EXIST

like just read these replies and tell me western society doesn’t hate fat people
