This is my absolute favorite scam only because some creepy dude tried to pull it on the elementary students by the funeral home (our bus stop was in front of the funeral home idk why private school is like that and anyday is wasn’t open or the owner wans’t there he’d be out there) and everytime someone would complain that he was being way to weird with the kids and school administrator would like come shoo him away and he’d just leave a few days then come back because technically he wasn’t on school grounds since our bus stop was just outside of school grounds, and one day when i was like 15 I got tired of this dude set up banging music and trying to scam kids infront of the funeral home so I had my dad pick me up and told him to bring the shears and I just grabbed these big ass sheers out of my dads car and walked up while this dude was screaming at me to not touch his merchandise and i just cut the fishing line and watched the row of like 8 cartoon cutouts just fall to the ground as boom boom pow blasted and I legit thought this grown ass man was about me and I was fully prepared to stab him with the shears but then my dad got out and the dude got scared and ran off and I never saw him again, but someone told me he got arrested for breaking into the funeral home and stealing chemicals, idk if that was true or just a school rumor

Update i have found out that he did in fact get arrested for stealing chemicals
