Wow, today was a big day. My neighbors had me meat in the next town over and you will never guess why. First, they wanted to call me li’l D or big D but I just said that DEL is fine. Then out of nowhere, one of them brought out some pokemon and that’s normal and all, but I didn’t expect her to actually give me one. I got chespin because chespin is awesome. I played with him a bit and we bonded instantly.

I then recieved a pokedex and a letterto deliver a letter to my mom from Prof. Sycamore (I think he was hitting on her) and my mom let me go out on my own. Rhyhorn was sad to see me leave but I think he understood.

I went back to my friends and we started heading to the next town, but we had to go through a cool forest. we made our way though when some twat ran me over. I found her later in front of the gym and totally owned her. She gave me a pair of roller skates. I decided to go ahead and fight the gym leader. I ended up having to fight one of her henchmen and he poisoned chespin which proved detrimental in the battle against her. 

It was the first time I lost. chespin was still poisoned and he fainted. I then went back with full health and status and wiped the floor with her. it was pretty cool. 

Finally, I headed to lumois city and met some of sycamores assistants. they took me to his lab (not that I could go anywhere. apparently there was a massive blackout.) Sycamore had summoned me and my friends to do some sort of test or something, but he wanted to battle me. It was a difficult battle as he was using some pokemon from another region. We were both down to our last pokemon (only for me) and chespin has one hit away from fainting, only the bond from our short time together was keeping him standing. We ended up landing the final blow and defeated the great professor Sycamore. In return, he gave me a bulbasaur and a stone that will help me achieve mega evolution, whatever that means.

All in all, it was a good day.
