This is accurate as hell.

Like here’s the thing: I don’t care if young kids make fun of my generation. It’s not hurting anyone and to be honest, I have faith in the next generation. They’re smart, talented and I’m happy for that. Shouldn’t we all be happy that the next generation is learning from past mistakes

Look if the younger generation wasn’t dragging us for the silly things we did it would be really weird. This is practically a tradition! Every younger generation gets to say ‘uuugh, my mom is SO not cool’ and every older generation gets to embarrass their kids with their out of date cool culture and everyone gets to have fun with a bit of inter-generational ribbing.

It was never supposed to be like it was with our generation being harshly criticized for existing. We can’t let that become the new normal.
