Any time I hear someone say, "We can't hire a disabled actor to play a disabled character because they won't be able to do the things the character does", it just leads me to think.... they're doing a terrible job at representing that disability
remember when spy kids 3d hired wheelchair bound ricardo montalbán to play their grandfather and he was one of the best things about that movie. disable actors can still act, hollywood is just ableist
