sorry if i was not super clear about the goombas. i was just rambling but heres the question in full detail : what are the goombas exactly. like are they mushrooms with tiny legs. are they relate to toads?. how do goombas hurt/attack the mario bros ( sense in game like 3d world they just touch them and bros go kaput) why do they work for bowser. and i am rambiling again sorry :(. (Ps i know i said this three times already but you is the best :D )

I actually talked a bit about the Goombas a tiny bit while back, but to go into a tiny bit more detail:

-Goombas are mushroom-like critters, as in they are related to mushrooms but they’re far more evolved in comparison to their plant cousins. They’ve evolved to have tails and somewhat dexterous feet so they may manipulate objects. If they need to use both feet, they simply balance on their tails and, if locomotion is needed while doing this, they’ll hop on them like Tigger does in Winnie the Pooh. No, they are not related to Toads, because Toads aren’t at all related to Mushrooms. In case you haven’t seen the art post this is what they look like:

-They don’t actually hurt Mario or Luigi. Keep in mind in this AU the whole thing is a huge traditional event, basically a game-show of sorts, and both the Koopa Kingdom and the Mushroom Kingdom participate in one of the biggest “King of the Castle” games in their history. As such, them touching the Bros and the bros being defeated is exactly that: they’re simply tagging them, and the Brothers, if they have enough tries, have to start over. They aren’t actually getting hurt.

-Goombas don’t “work” for Bowser, they’re his citizens. They’re also citizens of the Mushroom Kingdom, to be more specific, but yeh it varies where they live.
