Asriel's isolation (both self imposed and not), his beliefs regarding his soul and nature, as well as his position as the King of All Monsters, were all factors that lead to his death. It doesnt need to be right now, but you need to think of ways to circumvent these issues and get him to a healthier state of mind if you want to really SAVE him. Personally, I suggest a different form if government and copious amounts of therapy
