Actually… Presenting yourself with confidence while being friendly isn’t that bad a strategy to make people do what you ask of them…

Tbh it works with our species like 90% of the time, Crowley’s just going off experience here. He’s also an epic-level bullshitter, so of course that’s the muscle he decides to flex. I can only imagine what sort of story he was about to give the guy.

My favourite thing is how polite he is with Anathema when they hit her with the Bentley - both him and Aziraphale are perfectly polite and also look very much like two serial killers
