He owes a debt to the Goddess of Fate for saving him from bounty hunters, both living and dead. He doesn’t even know why he’s being hunted down. One day he was minding his business running his show and the next thing he knows, he woke up and it was years later, his assistant had taken off with the stupid gaudy cup they found on the road to be the flunky of some half-dead scary Lady, leaving him with a murder charge (or forty).
At least he still has his (secretly magical) umbrella and his note that says ‘back soon’ on it, the only clues to his mysterious past…
Joined by his allies, Fighter-Turned-Mage-in-Training Ren and Reaper Kravitz, he’s trying to figure out why things are getting so chaotic in Faerun. If only their job wasn’t being hinderded by that evil Lady and her pack of overpowered goons and the equally as troublesome screwballs in silver bracers who speak in static and dick jokes…
