When I was in college I had a bowl of these cooler-when-wet rocks put out in a bow on the kitchen counter (for decorative purposes). During a party one day, I pointed out to my roommate and his friend that they really do look cooler when wet! So he and his (admittedly kind of a stoner) friend spent the next twenty minutes dipping all the rocks in water and going WOAHHH
