i think its fucked up how we just take for granted that car accidents happen. like yeah of course each person gets their own 2 ton metal cocoon of death capable of reaching speeds over a hundred miles per hour. yeah, people routinely get dismembered or worse because of it. yeah, lets form the layout of our cities around preserving this fact. this makes infinitely more sense than simply improving and expanding public transit
