Undertale is up there I’ll admit but seeing as that was an indie game that kinda serves my general point of the larger gaming industry mostly phoning it in

People have been suggesting games like Dark Souls and Skyrim. And I agree! Those had a huge cultural impact and are still remembered very well.

But those were… also… from 2011…

i dont think skyrim counts. its cultural staying power is artificially caused by regular re-releases. if hadnt been rereleased like every year since it came out it would probably have been less memorable than oblivian
