Finally get to share that comic I teased a few weeks ago! As a fun fact, this was actually thumbnailed and sketched out around 2 years ago, but only recently did I go back and completely redraw and rescript it from the ground up. I’m very pleased with how it came out! :)

SO! I think the comic is pretty self-explanatory! I got the idea through past experiences when I was a kid; a lot of what Wendy’s insecure about are things I was made fun of for when I was younger: my hands were too big (kids used to call me “man-hands”), or my nose was too large for my face, or my voice was too rough, or my hair too poofy and not straight enough. Some of the things I can laugh at now, but back then they hurt.

I’ve no doubt everyone goes through some rather mean-spirted teasing on their appearance, and man does it suck. Took me up until college for me to actually think of myself as something other than ugly and that there wasn’t anything wrong with me, and only just recently can I look in the mirror and think ‘I look nice! I like the way I look!“

SO! To paraphrase what Bowsette’s basically saying: remember to be kinder to yourself! You’re beautiful as you are. :) Aaaand be sure to kick anyone’s ass who says otherwise uwu
