whiterun is the calmest most sedate hold in skyrim and the jarl's children are plotting to kill him and the local mercenary guild is ostensibly eating people
the problems plaguing whiterun hold include the following:
- love triangle in riverwood! who will get the girl?
- uh oh! this farmer's dad thinks he's not fit to be an adventurer!
- the youngest son of the jarl has been contacted by one of the oldest and most insidious of the daedra lords, and is being fed whispers and plots to murder his father for seemingly no reason. this corruption spreads to the jarl's other children, plagued by nightmares and thoughts of brutal, wanton patricide
