I’ve got a theory that when Vulcans say “I do not experience that emotion” or “I do not feel ___” it’s actually a traditional mantra/prayer rather than a statement of fact.
Picture an angry vulcan five year-old with balled up fists being taught to say “I do not experience anger” over and over until they calm down.
