Real trans girls didnt play the girl character

They WANTED to but they felt too scared of being judged for it so they picked the boy character while secretly yearning

of course i dont play girl characters because only girls would do that and clearly i’m not a girl

Different people have different degrees of willingness to take risks. Personally I played the girl characters and made constant excuses.

i had so many excuses loaded, but i was so unaware of why i felt so strongly about it, that they were mostly for me. some examples in no particular order:

• she actually has a smaller hit box, so it’s strategy
• no i’m trying to get all the content out of this game
• um i want to look at this pretty woman because i’m so straight obviously
• her moveset is better for how i like to play
• no i’m doing this as a fun joke because i’m silly
• listen, i’m a feminist, so…
• i can enjoy a story told from a woman’s perspective. my brain is gigantic

My boyfriend just says he likes them better or “why the fuck not”, essentially, with no real explanation, and then bullies anyone who says any different. I feel you guys are overthinking this.

That’s kinda the point of the post: only someone who’s genuinely got gender-related issues would feel self-conscious about it and feel the need to hide it or make excuses
