you know how shadow crystals turn to glass in the light world? this line from spamton neo’s fight reminded me of that.

it’s such a strange juxtaposition of words. when you think of broken glass, you think of broken shards; you think of something being shattered. but this glass is rotten. shattering happens instantly, but it takes time for something to rot.

it just paints this grotesque picture. there’s glass all around you, and you can see through it, but you can’t break through it. so it rots.
