what I love about tumblr is how random it picks it faves. a shipost with 3 typos could go viral. the same post 2 hours later could get like two notes. you could draw the next Mona Lisa and it could get buried in the search function. you could make a way too personal post and over 1k people reblog it in 1 hour. Russian roulette every time you hit that post button baby.
honestly where else can you have the experience of refreshing your dash hoping for at least one (1) sympathy note on something you poured your heart and soul into while seeing a text post float by that reads “soup gay” and is at 100k notes, surrounded by memes someone dreamed about
