happy birthday to the nintendo wii, which revolutionized physical therapy. the wii turned boring torturous rooms filled with weights and mats to places where people could actually have fun while getting stronger. the popularity in healthcare environments is largely why just dance 2020 was released on wii. that is right, on november 5, 2019, the final game for the nintendo wii was released.

now, healthcare facilities are filled with active video games, and patients are having so much more fun with them than they ever could through traditional means. there are countless people who quite literally owe the nintendo wii their life.
