I was thinking recently, the people who get all cranky over how Huey was conceived/born: how would they feel if he'd been born like a regular Pokémon? Imagine: Newt wakes up one day to find a random egg next to her. She's told she has to walk for a few days for it to hatch, so she does and a few days later the egg pops open and reveals a fully formed shiny Mewtwo. When you think about it like that, the flower seems normal in comparison.
