So, I was thinking about Gaster recently, when I realized something.

So There’s this like Ice Wolf monster in Undertale, and their whole job is throwing these stupid ice cubes into the water all day. 24/7. Which was interesting, so I started to wonder. “Man! What are these dang ice cubes for?”

Turns out you find out later, It’s transported through the Underground in order to cool down the CORE. Probably to keep it from over heating or something. But this has always felt like, super odd for me. Look, if this SINGULAR Ice Wolf decides to go on strike or something, the entire electrical system of the Underground is put at risk. And it gets even weirder when…

…If you wanted to have a cooling system for the core. Why not add vents to release the hot air? Like in Hotland.

Then, a massive truth hit me.

Who created and designed the core? Gaster.

Which means he made the blue prints.

Because of this small detail. We can FIGURE SOMETHING OUT ABOUT GASTER’S CANON PERSONALITY!

WHICH IS THAT THIS MAN, IS AN ABSOLUTE FUCKING DUMBASS

HE DESIGNED A MASSIVE GEOTHERMAL MACHINE, WHICH UTLIZES HEAT FROM LITERAL MOLTEN MAGMA IN ORDER TO CREATE GEOTHERMAL ENERGY. USING WHATEVER LITERAL ACTUAL JUNK HE PROBABLY HAD TO BUILD IT OUT OF. IN DOING THIS, HE PROVIDED CLEAN, RENEWABLE ENERGY FOR AN ENTIRE CIVILIZATION OF PEOPLE. 

BUT FOR SOME REASON. HE DIDN’T MAKE A FUCKING COOLING SYSTEM FOR IT.

SOMETHING THAT HAD BEEN ALREADY UTLIZED IN OTHER AREAS OF THE PLACE HE BUILT THE GODDAMN MACHINE.

NO WONDER HE FELL INTO HIS “OWN CREATION”, WHATEVER THE HELL THAT MEANS. HE PROBABLY TRIPPED ON A SHOELACE OR SOME SHIT

AND THEN, ONCE HE’S SCATTERED. ACROSS TIME AND SPACE. GUESS WHAT IS THE FIRST THING HE DOES?!?

HE HACKS A FUCKING TWITTER ACCOUNT.

I am now 100% confident in the fact that Gaster is simultaneously the smartest and dumbest fucking person in the multiverse and I’m honestly all for it.
