I’m confused, do people actually think covid could potentially kill us all?

no, it will only kill you if you don’t get on the lifeboat

So you honestly think that without the “life boats,” we all would die from covid?

image

Yes I do, @mistfather that’s why I put “life boats” in quotation marks, because we’re talking about the vaccine. I’m questioning the logic behind the metaphor, as it seems very divorced from reality, and sadly is all too common.

image

Well @mistfather that’s the first time ive head publicly discussing an issue called cowardly, but you do you. This is my secondary account, so I’ll never use the comment function.

Aside from that, so do you think without vaccines the vast majority of the human race would die off, as the metaphor is implying?

Are you going to drive a car with or without brakes? Difference between being able to stop safely with some damage or just crash into a ventilator.

So like the others, you’re opperating with an unrealistic view of the danger of the virus. Very interesting. thank you clarifying.

I’d prefer not to wait 2 to 3 hours at urgent/emergency care visits just because people choose not to vaccinate and continue spreading the virus more than a vaccinated person would. Year 3 of the pandemic, and you really wanna do it like this?

No, I dont want people with low to no risk going to emergency rooms to find out if they’re sick. I don’t want low risk cases taking vaccines from high risk areas. I don’t want vaccinated people going to emergency rooms to seek treatment for a virus that isn’t going to hurt them.

Bottom line: vaccinate everyone who isn’t immuno-compromised.

I’m on Medicaid until job benefits start, but consider everyone who doesn’t have COVID and who needs to go into immediate care for something other than COVID, but still need to wait for hours because anti-vaxxers continue to extend the spread.

But anti-vaxers aren’t worsening the spread, according to the data. Its as bad in supposedly fully vaxed area, and huge numbers of break out cases. Most of the laws don’t make exceptions for Immunio- comprised people, so if you can’t take a vaccine, you’ll be shut out from job, and society.

Beyond that, I agree, anybody who can get vaxed should.

You’re claiming data of spread rate without any sources. At least check yourself.

antivaxxers ARE worsening the spread by providing a breeding ground for the virus to evolve into vax resistant strains! its the same reason you need to take ALL your antibiotics when you have a bacterial infection.
