Worst TV Dinner Design EVER

So I saw some fancy looking TV dinners that originally cost 6 dollars but were half off, so I decided to try to spoil myself a little. The image on the box looked tasty enough, but I had no idea what I was actually going to get.

Because this TOTALLY looks like the photo, right?

Not only does it look awful, but the film on the container isn’t actually a peel off film. It’s plastic wrapped around the whole damn thing. Which makes it pretty hazardous to try and open once it’s cooked. Also, the tray warped in the microwave because of course it did.

So I prepare myself to see what horror awaits under the plastic, what foul beast has lied about its appearance, and my god…

That looks AWFUL. Super awful, just, it’s floating in liquid and it’s this mass blob of cheese and chicken.

My room mate then pointed out another stupid thing about it, on the box the instructions pulled this shit:

In case you didn’t notice, look at the “Pro Tip”, it basically says “after 2 ½ minutes remove film and cut slit in middle of food”. Let me say this again, this is a “PRO TIP” when it should obviously be IN THE DAMN DIRECTIONS, and of course most people aren’t going to notice the pro-tip, they’re just gonna make it like the directions say! FFFFFFFFUUUUU- this product makes me so angry!

I will say though… despite everything, it tastes pretty good. Not enough to warrant costing 6 dollars, and it’s hard to eat it when looking at it for how grotesque it looks…. But it’s really evidently clear here that whoever was in charge of making these things had NO IDEA how TV dinners are supposed to work.

3/10 will not buy again.
