I love the thing on tumblr where someone says the most absurd thing imaginable, and someone will comment "I bet there's an anime about this". About 70% of the time there isn't an anime that has this exact thing in it, but when there actually is an anime that has this as a canon thing that fucking happens, it's a 50-50 chance whether it's Fullmetal Alchemist or Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.

And in FMA you kind of have to stop for a moment, think back, and agree that wait, yes, that wild-weird-as-shit-holy-fuck -thing actually does technically speaking indeed happen, in that exact way, but it makes perfect sense in context.

And in Jojo, the thing does indeed happen, but it's such a random offbeat detail in a scene that already had like 15 weirder fucking things happening in it on top of that, that you didn't even register. I mean yeah the protagonist does shove a live pigeon in the mouth of a random girl off the street that he's never met before and will never meet again, but that was in the seasons before shit gets legit full-speed weird.
