so ive been playing sonic adventure 2 battle with some mods, mostly just to fix textures and localization issues, but the Biggest one was the chao garden extended mod (which just adds more functionality to the chao garden)

and i was trying to breed for a shiny black chao (had a two-tone shiny, had a monotone black chao, simple as that yknow) but one of my other chao (a monotone red chao) kept fucking eating the heart fruits, so i wound up breeding that one with the sparkly chao. yknow may as well try for a sparkly red while we're here, right

but what came out instead.

was Meatball.

i was streaming to some friends as this happened and i started freaking the hell out bc id never seen this happen before (tho looking at Fusion's Chao Editor, it seems you can Create egg chao in the settings. I did Not do this, he was just pure fuckign Chance)

he could only move by rolling on his side everywhere, until i gave him some running skill points.

i took him to the doctor, where we found out he has an S rank in swimming. i can only assume it's because he is especially buoyant.

and he came home just in time to celebrate his father's birthday and enjoy some cake :)
