The GOOSE had escaped and KNOCKED DEFENDANT OVER. Witness 1 had only seen the SILHOUETTE of the stabbing due to perfectly timed back-to-back lightning flashes, and had mistaken the NECK AND BEAK OF THE GOOSE for Defendant's arm.
