there are words that some consider offensive like retarded, gay and fat. The thing is, they are just describing words that are only offensive because people treat them like insults no matter the context. If someone is gay, that just means they are a male who likes other males. That’s not offensive. If someone is fat, that just means that they are larger than average. That is perfectly normal and should not be offensive. If someone is retarded, they have a mental handicap that slows down their learning capability. That is what it means. The only time they should be considered offensive is when they are used in the context that makes them an insult.
